The post office needs your money and wants to sell you shorts
In a move to try and boost revenues, the United States Postal Service is going to launch a retail clothing line. I find this utterly ridiculous. First, because come on, who will seriously buy postal clothing? And second, because the whole idea that the Post Office should have a budget gap is foolish. Shouldn’t the post office just cost what it costs? It’s an organization that provides a public service. I don’t see the military going out to “fundraise” like this, or cutting wars on Saturdays to save money. We just pay for what they want and add it to the national debt. Why should the Postal Service be any different?
