The UltraViolet movie streaming system sucks

January 16, 2013

In the interest of time tonight, I’ll just say this:

Dear movie studios, don’t make me jump through a dozen hoops to stream movies which I legally purchased and you promised would be available to me for streaming “anywhere.” I can avoid those hoops altogether using other means. I shouldn’t have to work to get the service I gave you money for.

Thanks…

Once again, like The Dark Knight Rises, the Blu-Ray disc (of The Hobbit) ONLY gives you the option of Ultraviolet. Customers beware. Make sure you have Wi-Fi access because you will not be getting an actual “digital copy” but instead the ability to stream it to your media devices– this is, of course, if the signal has no problems. I cannot believe how ignorant people are becoming and how Walmart, Warner Brothers, and others are getting away with using this HORRIBLE piece of crap service. Once again, I guess I’ll find a way to get my digital copy illegally rather then PAYING for it. Ultraviolet SUCKS!!!!!!!!

Login to vudu, click on your movie, and click “Download HD” or “Download HDX.” You use “Vudu To Go” to view your movies. There’s your digital copy.
