A bookseller’s rant for the day
If Amazon has succeeded at one thing, it has been to frustrate booksellers everywhere by giving customers unreasonable expectations about what the limits of a bookstore’s capacity really is. Just because the book your Uncle Pete wrote is available online doesn’t mean I can or should stock it in my store. Physics exists, people. And bookstores don’t have a special exception to the rule that two pieces of matter can’t occupy the same space at the same time. Nor do I work in a TARDIS.
