Some pictures from the Irish2000 festival, and what else I’m doing today
As it is every year, the Irish fest was pretty fun. Lots of good music, lots of good food, and Guinness… much Guinness. Here’s a few pictures.
There were actually lots of people at Friday night’s events, especially to see Seven Nations…
…and Gaelic Storm.
Saturday saw many green purchases (none by me).
There were Alpacas there too.
And creepy rides.
Really… creepy… rides…
But Black 47 played, so it was alright.
All in all, both nights were fun and very crowded. The weather was nice this weekend, which is always a plus. My only complaint is that Black 47 didn’t go on until about 10:15pm, which is just too late for most people who have been there all day to continue hanging around. Anyway, I’m looking forward to next year already…
…but tonight, we’ll be watching the Emmy Awards and rooting for our favorite shows and actors. Game of Thrones vs. Boardwalk Empire vs. Mad Men for Outstanding Drama Series is a toss up. All three are fantastic and deserving. However, if Peter Dinklage doesn’t win for Best Supporting Actor, I will call for rioting.
I’m just saying.
